Hand Sanitising Stations
Are available on arrival, exit and at toiletries entries. We ask all guests to make use of these when choosing to visit us and wash hands thoroughly when using the toilets.
Q. Face Coverings?
A. Staff will be wearing face coverings where service requires them to be within 2 metres of you. We ask that you also leave 2 metres between yourself and the staff and other guests where possible. Updated 24.09.20 Face coverings are now mandatory for all guests all the time (unless seated). Our team will continue to wear their masks while on duty.
Q. How are you limiting capacity?
A. We now have very limited tables to ensure our maximum capacity is not broken we will be operating as reservations only for our restaurant but we advice you also book for our bar area to avoid disapointment (although this is not essential and you may turn up as a 'walk in'. You are more than welcome to take a chance on a bar table for drinks or our casual food offer if you have not booked - just ask at the host point. (Just to make it super clear)
Q. Will you be taking Contact information for track and trace?
A. We will require your name and telephone number and an email if possible for your booking information as well as for the track and trace service should you need to be contacted. We will also require this information if you 'walk in' for one of our bar tables. Even though we may have your contact information for your booking it is best to 'check in' by scanning the QR code using the NHS app. Updated 24.09.20 collecting contact information is now mandatory.
Q. What are you maximum table sizes in line with current Government Guidelines (these may be subject to change 17.07.20)
A. Our maximum table size will be 6 to comply with government guidance as well as our own site specific risk assessment. We also only have two tables that will accommodate this size so it is best to book early to avoid disappointment.
Q. What are the restaurant opening hours?
A. Thursday-Sunday, please see opening times at the bottom of the page for specific service hours on these days
Q. Can we have exclusive hire/use of the pub?

As restrictions start to ease please do get in touch with your function enquiries. At present we cannot accomodate groups over 6 however we would be more than happy to have a conversation in the future when regulations allow.Updated 03.04.21 from June 22nd we will be offering WEDDING VENUE HIRE. Our current brochure can be viewed in the 'Wedding' section of our website.
Q. Do you organise special occasions?
A. (updated 17.07.20 - In line with Government Guidelines) yes we will do our best to accomadate you

Q. Can you cater for dietary requirements?
A. Hendrik cooks with fresh ingredients. But the menu items are very specific served with complimentary items where alternatives are not always available/possible. Small adapations can be made with advanced notice which is greatly appreciated . Please notify your server of any requirements when dining. Please be aware that our kitchen does use nuts, flour and dairy.
Q. Are table reservations necessary?
A. (Updated 17.07.20) YES you must book if you know you are coming and to avoid disappointment. It is almost essential to book over the weekend.
Q. Are children welcome?
A. Very. We have a menu for little dinners available and high chairs on request.
Q. Can I arrange Champagne or other special gifts?
A. Our team is more than happy to help with any special requests. Please call or speak to Emma and she will suggest ways we can make your visit extra special.
Q. Do you have Wifi?
A. Wifi is free to use. Signal strength varies in parts of the pub due to thick stone walls!
Q. How do I find you?
A. We are within easy reach of the M40, Junction 10/11. PLEASE BE AWARE; certain brands of Sat Navs using the postcode for this address will send you to other locations. Please check your destination point is in Kings Sutton.
Q. Do you serve Sunday Lunch?
A. Yes. One sitting will be served at staggered times between 12-3pm
Q. Are dogs allowed?
A. Yes in our bar area (you may even see our dog!) Due to layout restrictions during this time we only have one table to dine at that will allow dogs which is our private table. I'm sure this will be extremely popular so please do book early to avoid disapointment.
